Ant Payslip FAQ

What happens to extra columns or zero-value items?

Irrelevant columns are detected and ignored automatically, while zero-value items are hidden by default to keep employee payslips clear.

How it works

Payroll spreadsheets often contain working columns that employees do not need to see. Ant Payslip detects the relevant payslip fields and ignores unrelated columns during preparation.

Items with a value of zero are hidden by default. This reduces unnecessary detail and prevents employees from mistaking empty or unused fields for missing pay information.

What this means for your team

Use the preview before sending to check what employees will see. Your source workbook can retain the internal columns your payroll team needs.
